mixxt was founded by Christian Stein (26), Daniel Peters (26), Oliver Ueberholz (27) and Philipp Ellenbeck (25) and is headquartered in Bonn.
mixxt arose from the idea to give everyone the opportunity of creating an own social network. Many people already know communities and social networks. But an own social network for the circle of friends, the colleagues or the sports club, totally free of charge and created in just a few minutes?
The four founders launched their social network kit in October 2007 and are more than happy with the result. Users from the public, business or private sector have already started communities for selected topics.
Our claim from the outset was - and still is - that setting up your own social network with mixxt is as easy as handling an email-client or shopping on the internet. Above all, no technical background knowledge is needed. And that goes down well, even outside of Germany. Whether for lager enterprises, for event hosts or private individuals, the mixxt boys make it simple for everyone!
